A message to our new neighbors: We wanted to inform you that we will be hosting two events for our opening weekend.

Friday, September 30th from 5pm-10pm (Opening party for invited guests only)

Saturday, October 1st from 11am-5pm (Public Opening — all are welcome!)

Please know that while we are encouraging all attendees to use rideshares or public transportation, we do anticipate unusual foot and car traffic in our neighborhood during these events. We are very excited to celebrate with you and our community, and are being mindful to keep our streets clean.

If you have any questions, concerns, or if any inconvenience should occur, please feel free to email or call us: info@icasanfrancisco.org / 415 226 9250

MX Oops is a multimedia performance artist and educator whose work centers on hybridity, encouraging ecstatic disobedience as a path toward embodied wellness. Their work is NYC-based while exploring the nightclub as a queer site of transnational Afro-diasporic imagining. MX works in a range of mediums including dance, video design, new media sculpture, costume, rap, and guided meditation. They are the creative director of transmedia production company, Complex Stability, exploring queer mysticism through crude metaphysics. MX is a 2021-2022 CultureHub Experiments in Digital Storytelling Mentor and Researcher, and Assistant Professor teaching in Lehman College's Dance (BA) and Multimedia Performing Arts (BFA) Programs.
